This is a nightlight that I constructed using an empty cereal box, a pin, and a lighbulb plug from an old nightlight.
Recycling is the process of taking objects that would primarily be taken to a landfill, and using those objects to create other things or having other uses for them. When it comes to recycling, reducing means to use a lesser amount of the resource than you would normally use. For example, in an effort to reduce paper, instead of throwing away blank sheets, you could save them for crafts life paper mache. Reusing something means to take something that you were originally going to throw away, and use it to do something else instead. Like after you finish a kit of butter, you could wash the kit out and keep it so you could store something else in it. Similar to reusing, upcycling is using discarded objects to create a product of higher value or worth than th original value. Upcycling is different rom recycling because when an object is recycled, it is being destroyed so the matter could be reused to make something else made out of the same material. Upcycling is simply using the discarded product as it is and builing it into something of greater worth.
To build this project, all you need is an empty cereal box, a pin, scissors, tape and a plug in light.
All supplies were found around the house.
Use a pin to poke holes and create shapes that you want to be shown.
Continue poking holes to create a design.
