Not too much just this: mug Krylon Chalkboard spray paint masking tape
Take the tape and apply it wherever you don't want the paint to go. So here I'm going for a basic rectangle just to the right of the handle.
With the mug properly prepared, take it to a well ventilated area and spray it with the chalkboard spray paint. Apply 2-3 coats with at least 5 minute...
And that's it. Super easy to make and now you have an excuse to doodle in the morning. Enjoy!
