Step 13:

Tape off the top, then decorate as you wish! Have fun fragging your friends and try not to blow off your hands! The blast radius is about 15-30m, and within 5, they will draw blood. Be careful!

also the blast area is about 35-40 feet and around 7-10 feet you will be bleading send a message if you want to find out how to make

i made a similar on out of a fire cracker and stuck alot of bb,s to some air duct tape(the metal tape) and then wrapped it around the firecracker then put it in this pneumatic grenade launcher i made lit it and shot it. it wasnt all that loud but my brother had bruises all over where the bb,s hit him

I thought u where going to light it with the matches and then throw it no rig it
That's what I was going to do with the flint parts on the ring. Good instructacble.
Nice job! How did you type that after your fingers were blown off?
I do like the thought of how you ignite this, thanks for the tip, I mean its pretty much fool proof and, yet still genuinely smart. Great job!!!
Who needs airsoft things instead use ball bearings and gunpowder for a low explosive and ammonium nitrate and diesel fuel for a slightly stronger explosive. If you do this you probably wont have to worry about them the rest of the time.
Black powder or flash powder would do you more good than gunpowder. and ammonium nitrate isn't very strong at all. Acetone peroxide would be a better substitute
Do you know how hard it is to get your hands on pure NH4NO3? Plus, I'm sure there are plenty of more efficient methods of killing people...
its not that hard to get Ammonium nitrate, you can get it out of instant cold packs the ones with the bubble in the middle
You do realize that the ANFO mix requires a blasting cap (illegal without permit) and primer charge (also illegal without permit) to detonate. Otherwise you are left with just a stinky heap of slush.
Yes I do. I am capable of making both the class 2 blasting cap and the primer.
Well, I'm not encouraging you to try this (under threat of lawsuit), but it seems to be within the realm of possibility for some.
Its actually quite easy. just open up an instant cold pack. they go for about 40 cents a pop if you buy a bunch of em. just make sure the ammonium nitrate stays water free. it will absorb it from the air if left out.
ammonium nitrate is the main ingredient in instant ice packs
I know that. But they take precautions to make sure it's not a viable oxidizer. Like the fertilizer.
It is pure ammonium nitrate
ummm the warhead term is only usually used on millitary spec rockets and the explosive on ur frag is like turning airsoft into a full scale war just u need real guns geezz that MONSTER is HUGE i wouldnt b suprised if it left a 4ft crater in the ground and blew a guys arm off and he lost a toe or 8, 5m it draws blood man ur insane
you would be lucky if it left a 1 inch crater
I had to get cardboard, and put it at the bottom, then tape it, otherwise it just comes out at the bottom, plus, instead of using fireworks, i made my own explosive with a few chemicals so i knew wat i was dealing with. it drew a little blood to my friend, who started to shoot me point blank, all in all a fun day:) we were covered in holes by the end of the day
what chems did you use?
I have a new definition of a Bad Idea. Using a commercial-grade explosive to power a recreational-grade air soft charge has unforeseen lawsuit written all over it. I can see you detonating that and BB's going long distances, but at the same time, I see that if that charge lands and explodes too close, then the sound wave and shock wave can blow eardrums and/or cause unintended injury. I caution you that this is not a good idea. At worst, some one can be put in the hospital. At best, everyone on the field will be hit with at least one BB.

Bendog38
ive had one of those big fireworks you see at firework shows hit me in the chest and go off (one of the mortar tubes fell over and shot into the crowd), it hurt A LOT and i couldnt hear for an hour or so but it wont kill someone. However thats not to say i support this idea, its a very bad idea, but the most dangerous part is the burns and the melted plastic.
Finally something that doesnt use baking soda and vinegar. Good job man! You should make a video of it.
i hate when people call it DUCK TAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ITS DUCT TAPE
It's Duck brand duct tape. In the same way that Band-Aids have to be capitalized because it's actually a brand name while the technical term is "adhesive bandage. The Duck Tape duct tape brand is owned by Scotch makers of Scotch tape (another brand name for a class of product) which in turn is owned by 3M, makers of Post-It Notes (you guessed it, another brand-name equivalent to a class of product). *The more you know!*
oh. there are just people that dont know about it.
How long long is the fuse? I mean like how much time do you have to throw it if you pull out the pin?
The fuse comes with the fireworks. You can test a few out by isolating the warhead and fuse and timing it. For mine, the fuse was approximately 5 seconds.
thats pretty cool man! i use it as a claymore and hide it pretty far away though so it doesnt hurt to much
cool because the projectile is powerfull than others instructables
have you ever light it on
just cause my name is Airsoftmaniac123 doesnt mean i STILL WANT MY ARMS AND LEGS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
So you don't want your arms or legs for the rest of your life? Lol. Look at what you wrote.
My deatgh waiting to happen XD
its is cool and all but jeez dont u think its a little much, it will draw blood at 5 feet?!! i wouldnt use this on my friends but mabey detonate it in a field or in a trash can but nice thinking i like the idea
He said 5m, as in meters. So really that's about 15 feet, so at five feet you would probably have BB's embedded in your flesh :P
oh my bad but it still is really dangerous to use the charge from a bottle rocket.
wat kinda firework did you use?
5/5 very cool!
waste of bbs if used incorrectly
yeah definetly
How so? If you get cheap ones, there like five bucks per thousand.
i got mine in a bag for a dollar
i meant in like airsoft wars. i mean you can only carry a certain amount of bbs. and they tend to run out quickly. co2 also, but you may get unlimited refills depending on the arena
They would limit bb's that you put in grenades? I somehow doubt they can check that... If so, you might want to supply a squadmate who's armed with a sniper or something with these, then, as he wouldn't need quite as many.
this is a great looking grenade, but waaaayyyyyyyy to powerful. basically what this is is a cherry bomb in a can of bbs, to put it bluntly. i would make it the same way, but use a little TNT squib. this is dangerous. maybe you could put rocs in this, wrap it in tape, and use it for fishing. as an experienced airsofter, i know that grenades are deadly but only when used right and when they actually work. i will post a ible soon about haw to make remote detonated airsoft mines.

holy crap it draws blood? i want them to feel it not be injured by it but still AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

awsome but i dident have a black kat so i used a cherrybomb,. i didall the steps but mine dosent kill lol, minea a flare for paintball in the forest i made 2 and tred 1 and it it smaller than yours and it lasts for 4 hours and nice thinking for the pin!
