Cheap, Quick, Friction Stickers

 by Batryn
These are quick and easy friction stickers for a yoyo. It will cost 1.2 cents per friction sticker. I couldn't take pictures because the tape is clear... you can't see it...

This is a great Instructable, but you need to add a main image of the final project to the intro step. Please do that and leave me a message when you have so that we can publish your work. Thanks!

Where are you getting the friction sticker ? Is it an old one that doesn't stick any more? Can you use a thin coat of Silicon on double stick tape, then cut it ?

Yes, you can use anything on the double sided tape, as long as it will fit in your yoyo. The friction sticker you can either use an old one, or see my instructable. Again. And silicon is a great idea! It will be bindable too....

One thing I've heard, if you want duncan friction stickers to be bindable, heat em. Look here http://yoyoexpert.com/forums/index.php/topic,992.0.html

Update!!! This may sound weird... but just add a piece of rubber onto the tape before you cut it, that way your sticker will have some rubber over it, which gives better response(near the end they don't grip as well) and can last a month!!! Get heat shrink tubing, a balloon, any thin sheet of rubber, or grippy stuff will work.(even a bike inner tube!) or you can put rubber cement on a normal piece of tape, let it dry and follow the instructions on top. If you discover something else, let me know. All you need is the grip(rubber) and some kind of adhesive(double-sided tape)
