Introduction: Electrical Tape "Vinyls"

Hey there! Today I'm gonna be showing you how to make some cool Vinyl-esque decorations, using some pretty common stuff.

Step 1: Supplies:

You're going to need a few things. Their pretty common, and if you don't already have them, they're super cheap.

An all black logo or design printed on paper,
Electrical Tape,
Scissors and a razor blade,
A small tub of water and a rag.

Step 2: Get Your Design.

The first design I made using this project was the logo for the band Demon Hunter. For this Instructable, I'll be using Thousand Foot Krutch's logo.
Once you've decided on a design or logo, use a graphics editing program like Gimp, or Photoshop, to make it all black, and flip the image so that it's backwards. Then just resize it to fit on a piece of standard 8.5x11 paper. Print it out.

Step 3: Tape!

Take your paper with the design, flip it over so the design is on the bottom. If you have a nicely lit room, you will be able to see through the backside of the paper and see your design. If your room is not so nicely lit, hold it up to the light so you can see it.
See it? Good.
Now, the idea here is to use your electrical tape and make layers of it over your design, on the back side . See pictures.

Step 4: Cut It Out

Flip the paper back over so you see the printed side, and cut the logo out.
Now you've got a sheet of electrical tape in the shape of your logo.
...But it's not sticky anymore! There's paper on the sticky side! We'll fix that.

Step 5: Remove the Paper

How do we get the paper off, you ask?
Easy!
With the paper side up, take your rag and get a corner of it wet. Wipe a section of your logo down, wetting the paper.
Now what you want to do is take your razor blade and just scrape the wet paper off. Be careful not to accidentally separate your layers of tape. Don't worry about getting 100% of it off, it doesn't have to be perfect, just get as much off as you can so that it sticks good.

Step 6: Stick It!

All done! Just stick it wherever you want!
