What can you do to make your AEG shoot better without spending money? Lots of stuff!
Most of these modification are for the purpose of improving air seal. Good air seal can both increase FPS and make a gun more consistent over the chrono, aiding precision.

Signing UpStep 1Expand the piston O-ring
Remove your piton head o-ring and stretch it around a cylinder as shown. Now slowly and carefully heat it with a lighter or candle or something. Leave it on the cylinder to cool.
Relube and reassemble. This will help improve the seal between the piton head and cylinder.
