Introduction: Cheesy Meatballs
If you are someone who thinks that meatballs are delicious,
but are too difficult to make for yourself, then this recipe is for you. Anyone can make wonderful, restaurant quality meatballs at home. By following these easy steps, you will have a delicious meal in no time.
Large mixing bowl
Large frying pan
1 block (8oz) mozzarella cheese
2 lbs ground beef
½ cup milk
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup bread crumbs
½ cup chopped onion
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ cup Parsley
2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
Step 1: In a Large Sauce Pan or Skillet, Combine Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Garlic Powder, Oregano, and Basil. Stir Until Combined.
Step 2: Warm Sauce Over Medium Heat
Step 3: Dice the Cheese Into ½ Inch Blocks
Step 4: In a Large Mixing Bowl, Combine Ground Beef, Egg, Milk, Bread Crumbs, Onion, and Seasonings
Step 5: Mix Gently With Hands Until Combined
Step 6: Take a Spoonful of Meat Mixture and Mold Into a Ball Around a Piece of Cheese
Step 7: Repeat for Remaining Meat
Step 8: Wash Your Hands After Touching Raw Meat Before Moving on to the Next Step
Step 9: Place Meatballs in a Circle Around the Pan With the Sauce, Spooning Extra Sauce Over the Top of the Meatballs
Step 10: Cover, and Cook on Medium High for 25-30 Minutes
Step 11: You May Have Extra Meatballs That Do Not Fit in the Pan. You Can Either Cook These As a Second Batch in the Same Pan, Add a Second Pan, or Bake Them in an Oven Set to 400° for 30 Minutes.
Step 12: Serve With Your Favorite Kind of Pasta
