A nice straight log with a diameter of about 2 " . The length depends on how long you want it test tubes drill bit and drill sander jigsaw...bandsaw
Cut your log to size...i cut mine to 10" Sand your log...but don't remove all the bark...the bark gives a nice look. Flatten one side by cutting 1/4" ...
Put your test tube in the holes and see.... mine went lopsided ...What to do??? i put the test tubes in and filled around with wood filler and gently ...
Insert your test tubes gently and fill it with water and put your favorite flowers are leaves... nice huh?
