Chicken Samosa

Picture of Chicken Samosa
This is one of the tastiest  snack named  Chicken Samosa that kills your time in making it.Those who wants to try this out please set some hours free before you start on it.I make my pastry sheets  a day early so that I need not stay for long hours in the pantry.
I always  love spicy and hot,so I have used chili powder and green chili. If you do not want it hot ,you can use paprika powder instead of chili powder and skip the green chillies.
I like to publish my projects step by step with lots of photos ,so that every one can understand well, looking at the pictures alone.

When fried it is crispy,so have them hot hot. with your favorite sauce if you like.

Step 1: Ingredients

Picture of Ingredients

For the  filling

Chicken pieces with out bones (1/2 Kg)
Onions(double the quantity of the chicken)
Garlic
Ginger
Lime
3-4 cloves
Few green chillies (option)
Salt
Chili powder/Paprika powder
Oil
Curry powder
Turmeric Powder

For the dough

Flour
Salt
Oil
Water

Step 2: Preparing the Samosa sheets

Combine salt and water together mix and knead well. With your floured hands roll out ,make small balls in to pairs, double the size of a marble and flatten them with your finger tips.Apply oil to one side and place another flatten dough on top.Press them together ,roll out a bit.
Dust a little flour on the working board and roll them again  to oval shape to about 7-8 inches in length. If you want you can roll it a little bit longer  ,so that you can have bigger Samosa's. Have them all ready, so that you can warm it in the  pan one by one. Toss them in to the heated non stick pan for few seconds.Just one side half done would be fine
Don't wait until it is fully done.Take it out and slowly remove the two pasted sheets.Since I applied oil in between the doughs once it is heated slightly, it removes with out any problem
You can make the Samosa sheets as much as you want and freeze them for later use..Defrost  very well before you use.
