A basic yet flexible piece in the Chinese knot art, this knot is used by artists from beginners to experts. It is named "3-leaf clover" or "wood sorrel" because it imitates the natural shape of its leaves. It is also called (I will attempt to translate it) the "triple loop" or the "triple ring".

With a good color combo and some creativities, it can be easily turned into a highly decorative piece.
