I chose 3 colors: blue, green, and yellow. But you can anywhere between 3-8 colors (keeping in mind that the more colors you choose the thicker the bracelet will be). When it is done it should look like this:

Step 1: How to Begin:

You begin any friendship bracelet by choosing the colors, cutting the string into equal lengths, tying it into a knot, and fastening the knot under tape/with a safety pin. It should look like this

Step 2: Forward Knot Part 1

First thing to know is there is only one find of knot in this bracelet: the forward knot.
You start by taking the string you want to be first (any string works) and pull it slightly to the left and fold over the other strings.

Step 3: Forward Knot Part 2

Tuck the end of the string under and through the fold you just made.It should look like this:

Step 4: Forward Knot Part 3

Pull the end of string tight. You should pull tighter than this:

Step 5: Repeat

Do 4 more forward knots with the green string. Then make 5 forward knots with the blue string and 5 more with the yellow string. Repeat the process 5 green, 5 blue, 5 yellow until you reach the desired length.
