Introduction: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Here you can find a humble recipe for your own homemade chocolate chip cookies.

This tutorial has 2 PARTS:

PART 1  = kitchenware needed (2 steps)
PART 2= recipe + procedure (13 steps)

Step 1: Kitchenware - 1

Used for chopping up the chocolate and not neighbours' kids !

Step 2: Kitchenware - 2

Do not ask me how this is called in English.
I do not know it even in my native tongue.

Step 3: Ingredients.

1 SOFT WHEAT FLOUR
1 BAKING SODA / POWDER
1 SALT

1 BUTTER (Natural "cube like" not the "chemical, technical" in plastic box !)
1 SUGAR POWDER
1 SUGAR - BROWN (natural rough sugar)
1 VANILLA POWDER (... NOT THE vanilla stick)

3 EGGS
2 DARK CHOCOLATES

Step 4: You Need 2 Bowls = Small + Big.

Just divide your ingredients now to make it clear.
These you put in few moments !

1st small bowl = SALT, BAKING SODA, FLOUR
2nd big bowl = SUGAR, VANILLA, BUTTER

Step 5: Dark Chocolate.

Chop up chocolate into small pieces.
Say one "square" into 4 smaller.

Step 6: How Much and How to Measure.

I use mugs to measure needed amounts.
1x MUG = 250 ml (roughly).

EUROPE = 250 ml
USA = 9 oz


What you need:

2 mugs = flour
1 mug = butter
3/4 of 1 mug = sugar - brown
3/4 of 1 mug = sugar

In screenshot above there is chocolate !
Not in a cup just chopped up and put in same photo as reference what you need to prepare.

Step 7: 1st - Small Bowl !

2 mugs = flour

1 teaspoon = baking soda
1 teaspoon = salt

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

Step 8: 2nd - Big Bowl !

1 mug = butter
3/4 of 1 mug = sugar
3/4 of 1 mug = sugar - brown
1 teaspoon = vanilla

Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl.

Step 9: Still Working With Large Bowl.

Prepare dough using hand mixer.

Add 2 eggs (3rd egg keep for later).
Beat well so it is soft and has gold colour.

Last step is to stir in prepared flour mixture from 1st small bowl.

Step 10: Combine Bowl 1 + 2 !

Here you see both bowls combined.
Using hand mixer stir in chocolate into our gold like looking dough.

Step 11: Separate Dough Into 4 Parts.

By hands roll them into something like this.

I used these ceramic beavers to measure the size.
Roughly 3 cm each :)

Each dose should be equally even and not misshapen !

Step 12: Start Making Small Rounds.

Use kitchen knife.

Long parts cut into small rounds, say 1 - 2 cm wide.
Take 2 rounds and press them together forming 1 ball = 1 cookie :)

1 inch = 2.54 centimeters

You can try bigger pieces ;)

Step 13: 1x EGG

This is our last 1 egg.
Just mix it into yellow uniform liquid. 
For instance use fork.

Prepare "Feather of the albino Phoenix" *

Do not ask me how this is called in English.
I do not know it even in my native tongue.

* Basically a set of feathers !

Step 14: Baking !

HOW TO
Put 12 on each baking sheet.
Smear the last "yellow" egg over all cookies you prepared.
From the dough we have can be prepared either 24 big cookies or 36 small ones.

TEMPERATURE
Bake in oven at 180 °C (356 °F) for 10 - 15 minutes.

Step 15: Your Own Cookies !
