Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Doughnuts

I came up with this idea while brainstorming at work I was writing down random words and trying to connect the dots when this hit me.  I also came across scoochmaroo Homemade Magic Shell Recipe http://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Magic-Shell-Recipe/ which worked perfectly for this idea.

Step 1: The Materials

You will need the following for the chocolate dipped ice cream doughnuts:

• A doughnut mold (I got mine at a craft store that had baking supplies)
• Homemade ice cream (easier to put into the doughnut pan)
• Some Homemade Magic Shell
• Wax paper
• Chopsticks
• Extra space in your freezer

Saw this on Instructable's Facebook page. Clever idea! Would be great for a "dessert bar" I think.

I have made the magic shell chocolate before, but how did you make the other flavors?

To make the other flavors I either used chocolate in the flavor I wanted or used flavored oil when I was melting the ingredients for the shell.
