Introduction: Chocolate Mango Cake Pops

About: I'm a total perfectionist who loves making things. (Unlike everyone on Instructables, right?) I just might put my creations up here, and I appreciate any feedback you can give me. Don't be shy!

These bite-size treats are delicious and fun to make.

Step 1: Ingredients

What you need is:

- 4oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 very ripe mango
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon
- 3/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter

Step 2: Mix

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, crack eggs into bowl and add sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the butter and beat for about 1 minute.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 inch pan lined with wax paper.

Step 3: Melt and Add Chocolate

Chop chocolate into pieces. Put pieces into a pot on the stove. Put it on medium heat and stir occasionally. Take chocolate off burner when melted.

Pour chocolate into the sugar/butter mixture.

Step 4: Combine

Add milk and flour mixture to the wet mixture and beat until light brown, thick, and creamy.

Step 5: Mango

Peel and slice mango. Mine was so ripe that most of it was almost goop! :) But the riper the more flavorful the cake will be. Add the mango to the cake batter and mix until the pieces are evenly distributed.

Step 6: Bake

Put cake batter into the greased pan and bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Then you need to mash up the cake when it's baked.

Step 7: Make Cake Pops

Form the cake into round balls. Put them in a container of your choice. Insert stick or toothpick into them and put them in the fridge until firm.
