Introduction: Chocolate Pear Cake

I learnt this lovely dessert at a party.. Its one of the very common desserts of Italians.

Believe me it tastes too good . Specially for the one who doesn't like fruits in their plain cakes ,please try this one you will love to have that fruit in your cake, since i was one of them you doesn't like any fruits or dry fruits in their chocolate cake , but after having this one my whole idea of cake changed .

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients

1. All Purpose Flour- 200 grams

2. Pears-4 medium size

3. Sugar- 150 grams ( And 2 tbsp extra for beating the egg whites)

4. Coco Powder- 1 tbsp

5. Egg Yolks-3

6. Egg White-3

7. Vanilla essence powder- 11/2 tsp

8. Cooking Chocolate- 100 grams

9. Butter-150 grams

10 Milk-1/2 cup

11. Brown Sugar-2 tbsp

12. Baking soda- 1 tsp or baking powder- 1 1/2 tsp

13. Powdered sugar and cocoa powder- 1 tsp of each

14. Extra powder sugar -1 tbsp ( used at the end )

Step 2: Method

Method

Take a bowl and add in the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla essence and mix well .

Add a little bit of milk in it and mix well. Now keep this mixture aside.

Now in a double boiler take the cooking chocolate and add in butter, thick cream or milk , Brown sugar and little bit of vanilla essence. Let the mixture melt completely then turn the gas off and let this mixture cool in room temperature .

Till that time start peeling the pears and coat them with a mixture of a teaspoon of cocoa powder and powdered sugar.Leave them a side , so that they can absorb the cocoa and sugar taste.

Now start with the egg whites. Beat the egg whites in a beater till its near to stiff peak in between add sugar and vanilla essence.

Now take the egg yolks mixture and add in the cocoa powder, baking powder or baking soda, and the melted cooking chocolate mixture. Mix all well. Now add the egg white foam. Mix gently .

Lastly add in two parts the all purpose flour. Mix all this gently . Bake in preheat oven at 180 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes .

Let it cool after baking and cover the cake with powder sugar. Ready to serve. Eat n Enjoy.
