Yehay! for Green and Blacks Mayan Gold! Looks like a nice drink. I Know Baileys is a Whiskey based liqueur, but your link to the "Godiva" one appears to be broken. Do you know what the base alcohol is in there?

Hi There,

Here's the link to the Godiva site (I can't update the information here for 2 weeks because this Instructable is part of a class competition - help me out and send this to all your friends!!!!) http://www.godiva.com/beyond_chocolate/liqueur.aspx#

But the answer to your question is not on the Godiva site. Godiva Liqueur is purchased for another company named Diageo at www.diageo.com. I contacted them and the base alcohol is a grain neutral spirit.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Thank you for taking the time to look that up, it's interesting, and it should help folks figure out other substitutions, since Whiskey is at heart a Grain Alcohol, I would expect most other gran based liqueurs would be suitable, but of course they would have different effects...

Benedictine?

Cointreau? (gotta love the combination of Chocolate and orange)

Looks good! :) I hope I can try it! Do you know if there is gluten or caramel color in the Godiva? I will have to take a look. :) Good luck! :) - Donna
