I'm a total gearhead. I love working on cars, airplanes, rockets, sailboats, whatever. Cars i've owned and/or rebuilt: 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1977 Lotus Esprit, 1979 Fiat X1/9 & Strada, 1970 Ford Bronco, Porsche 944, 2 Porsche Boxsters, 1985 Suzuki Samurai, 1988 Jeep Wrangler, 2006 Hummer H2 SUT, 2006 Toyota Prius (The latter 2 made for a great holiday card) , 2008 Mustang GT/CS convertible and a 2011 Nissan Leaf. Also currently own a 30' Catalina Sailboat.
BS in Astrophysics from University of New Mexico and SM from MIT in Aeronautics & Astronautics (Course 16).
Favorite job: chief structural engineer on Team Remax, which was an attempt to fly around the world by manned balloon nonstop in the stratosphere.
Current job: CEO of a bio inspired wind turbine company.
