When looking for cost effective favors for a Quince (Birthday party for a 15 year old in spanish culture) I came up with this. Its a white chocolate initial of the guest of honor. It can be easily embellished upon with your imagination. It is real easy and inexpensive.

Step 1: Materials

Melting chocolate
Cookie sheet
Wax paper
Quart or gallon ziplock bag
Oven mitts
Cello bag
Ribbon

Step 2: Preparing the Chocolate

Melt the chocolate following the instructions on the packaging, via stovetop or microwave.

If doing it with a microwave, place the chocolate inside the zip lock bag and melt according to package directions. If it says to stir, knead it in the bag. Use oven mits.
This is way less messy.

If doing it with a stovetop, pour the melted chocolate when it is warm, not hot, into a ziplock bag.



Step 3: Making the Letters

Place a piece of wax paper on the cookie sheet.  Snip bottom corner of the ziplock bag and use like a piping bag. Use oven mitts if needed.

Practice your letters, for size and thickness, the first bag is like a test run, see below.

Once you get a style you like, pipe all the initials you need on to the wax paper and let cool.

Step 4: Packaging Them Up

Peel each initial off the wax paper. Place it in the cello bag and tie with a ribbon. Enjoy!
