I was bored sitting with my dad and decided to do something different this holiday season. Thus the Christmas Hamper was born.

Step 1: Materials/Tools

Materials:
8inch Nylon Cable Ties(zip ties)
Christmas Lights
A Laundry Hamper(must have holes big enough to fit a finger through)

Tools:
Needle Nose Pliers
Wire Cutters

Step 2: The Easy Part

Take the hamper's lid off(if it has a lid) so the bottom is facing upwards.

Step 3: The Hard Part

Take your first zip tie and thread it through one of the holes(using the pliers to help pull through). Then take the end of the Christmas light with the female end and zip tie it to the hamper leaving enough loop that you can cut it off once the holidays are over. See that little tail of zip tie at the end? Snip it off with the wire cutters.

Continue to zip tie the lights, turning the hamper around until the hamper is completely covered in lights.
