Step 3Emboss the medallion image
Now use the heat tool to emboss the gold embossing powder. The heat tool causes the embossing powder to melt, creating a raised and shiny finish.
When using the heat tool, hold it at least 2 inches away from the image, at a 45 degree angle from the image and constantly moving across the image. This will prevent burning the embossing powder, which will result in a dull finish.
Watch for the powder to melt and become raised. Continue heating until this occurs across the whole image.
