Cigar Box IHome

Introduction: Cigar Box IHome

About: My name is Bailey Blankenship. I'm a 16 year old living in Durham, North Carolina and enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and electrical engineering.

This is less of an instructable, and more of me just showing my work. I got tired of my iHome's appearance and decided to give it some plastic surgery to better fit my taste. I'd been keeping my Dremel in a pretty nice cigar box for quite some time, and decided the tool could find another home in a Vans shoe box. After gutting the iHome, I traced button and input/output socket patterns onto the cigar box and drilled holes for them, then hot glued all the innards into place. I did a bit of touching up on the box design with a soldering iron and a wood burning attatchment to finish it off. I think it came out pretty nice. Let me know what you think.
