Clapotis for Cara

Clapotis for Cara
I knit this clapotis (scarf/shawl) for my friend, Cara, for Christmas -- she also got a hat. Years ago she knit me a sweater and her mom was the fist knitter I really saw creating cool stuff, so they are an inspirational family! I love this pattern and though it was daunting to read the instructions, some wonderful charts from people in the KAL made it all make sense; and once I started it was a fast and interesting knit. With the leftover yarn, I made a matching hat. I'll be making a clapotis for myself soon!

Pattern: Clapotis by Kate Gilbert
Needle: US 8 / 5.0 mm
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden. 7 skeins = 854.0 yards (780.9m) in colorway #84

Pattern: Clapotis Cap by Amy Craft
Needle: US 8 / 5.0 mm
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden. 1 skein = 122.0 yards (111.6m) in colorway #84

Great job, you must be good of this stuff. I realized you also posted "Clapotis for Mom". I didn't see one called "Clapotis for GorillazMiko". Just kidding, nice work!
