Click N' Dig Remote By Brandon Wells

Step 1: Step 1

Buy the GE® Big Button Blue LED Backlit Remote Control like the one in the picture below. You can buy these at RadioShack for $14.99.

Step 2: Step 2

Remove the remote out of the hard, plastic casing that it is inside. After doing this, your remote should look like the one below.

Step 3: Step 3

Next, use a screw driver to crack open the hard casing around the remote. To do this, there is a seam that connects two hard plastic casings together. Put the screw driver in that seam and crack it apart. After doing this, it should look like the image below.

Step 4: Step 4

Take the circuit board (the green, metal board inside the remote) out of the remote. Make sure to place this on the side gently, without damaging the circuit board. This is what makes it work, so do not damage it. After taking the circuit board out by simply pulling on it, the remote should look like the image below.

Step 5: Step 5

Now that the remote has no electronics inside of it, it is time to start putting the small beeping motor inside of it. This motor can be bought at RadioShack for $2.99. It is called a Wireless Bistro System. To put this into the remote, simply place it 3 3/4" from the battery compartment. Once placing it in the remote, glue the Wireless Bistro System to the Remote casing.

Step 6: Step 6

Now that you have the Wireless Bistro System inside the remote, you need to connect the two wires together. So, grab the red wire and the black wire and sauter them together. This makes the remote beep when connect with the transmitter. After sautering the wires together, the remote should look like the one below.

Step 7: Step 7

No that you have that set in the remote, you can start re-assembling the remote again. First, grab the circuit board and set it back into the remote carefully. Inside the remote there is four small hooks that hook onto the circuit board. Place the circuit board on the correct hooks, and then the circuit board will placed inside the remote correctly. It should look like the image below.

Step 8: Step 8

Now, put the hard casings together, so it looks like a remote. It should look like the one in the picture, but it won't be completely attached because you broke the clips to attach it.

Step 9: Step 9

So, since its not connecting together, all you need to do it glue it together. After glueing it together on the seams, it should look like the one below.

Step 10: Step 10

Now, your remote is finished and ready to sell!
