Introduction: Coats 'N Hats

For my school project for my rapid prototyping class, we are designing a object for the new space we're getting. I decided to make a hat and coat rack. It took me about 45 minutes to make with the design the finished product.

Step 1: Design

First I used a computer designed what I wanted my hat and coat rack to look like. I was interested to see what my design would look like and you might want to see so to. (There is always room for tweaks)

Step 2: Designing Graphics

As you can see in the last step I put words on my design that said "Hats and Coats". So I took that Idea and redesigned the words using Silhouette Studio. I used a CNC cutter, and cutout the words I want. You can design anything you want with silhouette studio and do the same.

Step 3: Put in the Hooks

This step is pretty simple. All you have to do is put whatever hooks you want into the board of wood you got. Above is a video of my whole project.

Step 4: Designs

Once you have the hooks on the board you could paste your stencil on the board and spray paint or sharpie over it. Another option you could use is to leave the vynyl , but the sticker could fall off in the long run.

Step 5: Enjoy

Find a spot to nail it into a wall and enjoy your project!
