Introduction: Coffee Table
Here's a coffee table that might look a bit different than most. Just an idea.
Step 1: Cutting and Fitting
Cut all the aluminum square tube pieces with a chop saw and seeing how the oak pieces will fit
Step 2: Wood Stain
Tig welded all the aluminum joints and cut the oak pieces. Added tabs to support the wood. Stained and cleared the wood with polyurethane. Used the same clear finish on the aluminum.
Step 3: Standing the Test of Time
Table has been in my living room for almost a year and still looks new even with 3 kids testing it's limits every day
We have a be nice policy.
Please be positive and constructive.
