Collapsable Rubberband Powered Crossbow

This is a collapsable croosbow that is powered by a rubberband. It shoots a lego piece about 20-30 feet, depending on the rubber band. It will fit in most pockets, and It doesn't hurt.

Step 1 What You Need/ Starting To Build

What you need to build this is: a Lego Mindstorms NXT Kit

To start building, put together the parts on the pics and follow directions.

dude, thats sweet. but i've made a better one that shoots further, especially if you have one of those really wide rubber bands. its just like this but not collapsable. its lets the rubber band keep going until it nearly touches the arm/barrel intersection, instead of making it stop before it goes far enough to get momentum. id post it right now, but I dont have a card reader! lol. but I did spend about a week on it. good job for probably a 2 and a half hour project!
