Computer Shutdown Prank (Windows)

This will shut down a person's computer when they click on the icon that you set up. This icon will be a new icon that the victim can't resist clicking on.

When they click on the icon, the computer will shutdown with a comment, with a comment, or without them knowing. They will be stunned when their computer all of a sudden shuts down! This prank is great for:

-Schools
-Home
-Libraries
-Offices
-Public Buildings

Step 1: First Method (Instant Shut Down)

The First Method is an instant shut down. First, right click on an open space on your desktop and select: New > Shortcut. When the new window opens, copy and paste the following code:

%windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 00

After that, click "Next" and then type something that will attract someone's eye such as "Million Dollar File" and click "Finish". Now right click on the new shortcut and select "Properties". Click on "Change Icon", click "Ok" if a message box pops up, and then select an icon that will attract someone's eye and click "Ok". Your trap is now set! Just wait for someone to click on it!

 Cool! I use it for my brother as a sleep lamp, 'cause he doesn't like sleeping in the dark, so I use his computer! I set it to shutdown in 20 minutes (1200 seconds), and by that time he's asleep and the computer is safely turned off.

can u stick this on a usb then copy and paste to other computers? unsure if it works with shortcuts.

i have a question how bad would it be if i tied this shutdown script to the startup prompt? just wonderin if it could be curable if anyone ever did that.

Maybe 'annoying' is what he was going for. I would be 'annoyed' if I did this, but later think it was funny..... then plot my revenge. I mean, it's not like he did an 'auto-format c:' or somethng destructive. :-) ---- I knew that there was a command out there to do this, but never bothered to look it up and now I know where I can always find it!

why would you appeal to the same audience with the same material posted by every other guy. to me it seems like, why build a volcano for science class when everyone else is doing it, your volcano will be lost in the sea of volcanos and will most likely be ignored.
