Conductive Fabric

Whether you call it "soft tech" or "wearables," we can all agree that there has been great advancements in recent years merging fabric-based crafts with electronics. These innovations have changed the way we interact with our clothes, each other and our environment. Be it clothes that aid the blind in better navigating their environment or a piano you can play on your friend, each new stride forward brings into our lives new ways to see, feel, hear and experience the world.

Since this is an emerging field, there are many different people who are all approaching their craft from many different perspectives. Despite the multitude of unique voices, the one thing that almost everyone has in common is the innovative use of conductive fabric and threads. Using this common material as a starting point, allow me to present a small glimpse into the world where craft and technology fuse as one.

Not that I know of. It does not really update. Eventually there will probably be another conductive fabric guide.
