How to convert an old petrol lamp to use electrical current in a few easy steps.

You'll need:

Petrol lamp (dah)
Power cord
Lamp socket
Lamp (one that will fit both the socket AND the petrol lamp)
Knife, dremmel, and screwdrivers
Switch for the lamp
Some patience

Step 1Buy an old petrol lamp...

Self describing step... buy a petrol lamp that you like or find one you already have.
Disassemble the main body and remove the pieces to make place for the lamp socket.

I plan on doing this same thing to a camping lamp, but I am going to put a flicker flame bulb in to give it that dancing flame look. Cool idea looks like your project came out nice.
