What do you need?
- 4 cloves garlic
- 800 grams of prawns (for three or four people)
- 1 lemon
- 1 spoon of butter or margarine (if you are lactose intolerance)
- Olive oil
How is made?
First step: Wash the prawns two or three times with enough water, and leave them drip. This remove residues and leave the taste untouched.
Second step: Squeeze the lemon and reserve the jus.
Third step: Slices the garlic cloves and reserve them.
Fourth step:Put two spoons of olive oil in a frying pan . Leave it at mild temperature until the oil warms up. Once the oil is warm enough,put the prawns on the frying pan, add a little salt , and toss it all with a wooden spoon. Do movements from outside to inside the frying pan. Toss the prawns that way help not to break them (the head are easily remove from the body if you are not careful). Toss it all continuously for about ten minutes, depending on the heat of your stove.
Fifth step: When the prawns are almost cooked, put the garlic and toss it all for one minute, add one spoon of butter or margarine.Once the butter is melt add the lemon jus and toss everything for one minute.
If you like you can serve the prawns with mayonnaise.
