<p>Why cant I see this any more?</p>
I recently found a big slab of cedar that I was seasoning , so I made this six drawer jewelry box out of it. All it needs is some finish and to line the drawers with felt.
really great kindly send the drawing i will make this pls share on mahesh.gan.143@gmail.com
See my updated photo of the box, finished, with green felt drawer linings! Now who can I give it to ?
<br> This is an really cool box. I had no idea that making it is going to be that simple. Thanks for all your effort.<br> <a href="http://finejewelryboxes.com/Jewellery-Boxes-c1.html">http://finejewelryboxes.com/Jewellery-Boxes-c1.html</a><br>
wood that is freshly harvested from live trees, called green wood, need special care for them to dry without shrinking unevenly and crack, check (radial splits), and twist. Check out paper bagging, linseed oiling and end grain sealing.<br/><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.sculpture.net/community/archive/index.php/t-1114.html">http://www.sculpture.net/community/archive/index.php/t-1114.html</a><br/><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.woodturningvideosplus.com/paper-bag-drying.html">http://www.woodturningvideosplus.com/paper-bag-drying.html</a><br/>
Unecessary info. that most every wood working guy knows !
Hehe, Tiny Toons toy.
Very Nice! I love Cedar.
Wow! looks good. Next time rotate the pictures.
I don't know how to rotate the pics. Can I do it on the Instructables site?
No, not yet. You have to do it on your computer.
Nice work !!! Reading your instructions I could make it since I have made similar smaller ones in the past.... for a novice woodworker you need to add a few more pics ...one of the "U" shape cuts on the drawer after the cuts before gluing ...
this really does look like a nice job :) if only i had a bandsaw... hehe if i could make one suggestion: why not cut off a thin segment from the back of the box, which you could glue back on at the end, so the drawers have a backstop. (an extension of the idea used for making the front and back of each individual drawer) then when you reattach it and sand it will possibly look even better (and if you move the whole thing around you don't need to worry about things falling out the back!)
wow ur way better than me with a bandsaw the only drawer i cant see the cut for is the bottom
Absolutely lovely. (You really should rotate those pics, though...)
WOW! This is REALLY cool. Amazing job, this is just... wow... amazing. Just amazing! +1 rating. (added to favorites)
