Step 6Line the drawers with green felt.
iImage Information

To really make this box nice, you can line the drawers with green felt. Carefully measure the inside of the drawers. Use paper patterns to save messing up a good piece of felt. Then when you get the paper pattern perfectly the size of the drawer inside, place pattern over felt and cut it out, for a final fit. Be precise, and the felt will cover the inside perfectly. Tuck each piece into each drawer and see the fit. If you are satisfied with it, then put some contact cement inside the drawers. Be careful here, again, don't slobber the glue over the edges. Let it set & cure a few minutes. Then place your felt carefully into each drawer, slowly from one edge. Then work it down into the bottom , pressing lightly, as you go. It should seat evenly. It gives a little so you can rub it up to the edges if you mess up a little. See mine. I have done more than one, so I know what to expect. Take your time and the results will be worth it! Another alternative is to use flocking, it is a soft powder , felt like stuff that you can glue into the drawer insides. Can be found in woodworking catalogs, but much more expensive. Felt works for me!
