For those chilly Autumn days, this cosy chunky hoodie is perfect for your little one. Here knitted in fluorescent pink (handy for keeping them in view), but would look equally good in an aran yarn (and very 'on trend') or something a little more rustic.
It can be made for boys and girls (just change the buttoning side if it matters) and it can be knitted in any dk yarn doubled up (knitting with two strands). Great for beginners - simple garter stitch with neat rolled edges, not too much shaping, and the pockets are optional. Knits up nice and quickly, and is a slightly boxy loose fit which means more than a season's wear. Great value. Sizes 3-4 and 5-6.
