Introduction: Cornstarch Cookies

i would like to share with you another family recipe that is one of my favorite cookies.it is so lightly due to using just cornstarch

Step 1: Ingredients

500g cornstarch

3 eggs

250g butter at room temperature

10g baking powder

teaspoon vanilla extrat

150g sugar ( you can add sugar if you like sweetier)

pinch of salt

sesame seeds ( optional)

Step 2: With Hand or Handmixer , Work the Butter and Sugar

Step 3: Add the Eggs, Baking Powder,pinch of Salt and the Vanille Extrat

Step 4:

Step 5: Then Add Gradually the Cornstrach

Step 6:

Step 7: Untill Having a Smooth Dough

Step 8: Shape the Dough in a Long Baton Then Slice in Half

Step 9: Press Gently Batons

Step 10:

Step 11: Then Slice in Cubes

Step 12: You Can Make Either Cubes or Balls.sprinkling the Sesame Seeds Is Optional You Can Skip It

Step 13: Preheat the Oven at 180c and Bake Them for 10 to 15 Minutes.

Step 14: They Almost Remain White But With Lightly Golden Look

Step 16: After They Cool Completly Dust With Icing Sugar.

    where is the problem?

    This sounds and looks beautiful and delicious! I will have to give it a go soon! Oddly enough, I have so much cornstarch. I don't know how come. Thanks for the recipe!
