Introduction: Crab Dip - Old Bay Style

About: I'm a 45 year old Systems Architect living in the Midwestern United States. After travelling the world for 20 years as a consulting architect I became disabled, as a result, I am now embracing a Slow life.

As an accompaniment to my 4th of July Family Feast, I decided to spoil my family with this creamy, slightly spicy, and super-delicious crab dip. Simple to put together, and perfect when served with a fresh-baked loaf of 5-minute artisan bread, I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lbs lump crab meat
  • 2 tsps Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp Coleman's dry mustard
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar or colby cheese

Gear:

1 1/2 qt Corningware baking dish

Step 1: Mix

Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Add all ingredients except shredded cheese to a bowl and mix well.

Step 2: Bake

Add mixture to baking dish, top with shredded cheese, and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbly.

Enjoy with fresh-baked bread!
