Cream Cheese (square) Pastry

Cream Cheese (square) Pastry
This is basically an easy breakfast for those who don't have a lot of time for bacon and eggs in the morning. It consists of the crescent things in those cans that explode when you open them, some cream cheese and jelly. They're really good if I do say so myself :)

Step 1Ingrediants

Ingrediants
First of all, you'll need Crescent Rolls, the ones that come in a cylinder thing. Then you'll need Cream Cheese and last, some sort of jelly. I personally like apricot the best, but whatever floats your boat i guess.

All right, so now that you got everything, the cooking begins!

These turned out really good. I did a couple with chocolate in them, which were good too but I think I prefer the cream cheese/jelly combo. I used red raspberry jelly, mmm!!! I took a picture, I'll post it the next time I hook up the camera.

My MIL makes something similar, but with a pie crust instead of the crescent roll dough. It is good (and I imagine these would be just as good). As for how long they keep, I don't think you'll ever find out. Whenever my MIL serves hers, it's gone w/i minutes!

Awesome. How long do you suppose those keep? I can't imagine them lasting long enough to find out.
