Reindeer are one of the most important symbols of Christmas, along with Santa Claus or snow flakes – and here you will learn how to create your very own reindeer footprint craft in eight easy steps!

Step 1:

Get Ready! The first thing you need to do is to grab a piece of white A3 paper and to apply brown aquarella (liquid paint that is washes off very easily) on your foot.

Step 2:

After applying the paint, all you have to do is to gently press your feet against the paper, so that two perfect footprints are created – these prints will be the bodies of your reindeer.

Step 3:

The third step is to get your white and blue water colors – you will need them for drawing the eyes of the reindeer.

Step 4:

After dipping your paint brush in white, draw two small circles on the upper part of the foot, right under the toes, then put two small blue dots in the middle of the white circles – these are the eyes. If you feel playful, you can draw some eyelashes on, too!

Step 5:

Now that the eyes are ready, all you have to do is to dip your thumb in red, for an extra touch of color!

Step 6:

Put your thumb right at the end of the heel – the heel of the footprint will serve as the nose of the reindeer.

Step 7:

Look at the big picture: the two footprints should resemble Santa’s reindeer by now.

Step 8:

The final touch – draw the horns on each side of the footprint, around the eye level.
