Introduction: Crispy Giant M&M Cookies
So the other day I was thinking of making something for my friends when this came into my mind, why don't I make Giant M&M; cookies for them for christmas?
Step 1: First, Gather Your Ingredients.
3/4 cup Butter, somewhat softened.
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar.
1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
1 large egg.
1 large egg yolk.
2 cups of plain all purpose white flour.
1/4 teaspoons baking soda.
1/4 teaspoons of salt. (If butter is unsalted.)
And about 1/2 cup of M&M;'s.
Step 2: Preheat Oven to 350F
Step 3: Put Cookie Sheet on Pan.
Step 4: Separate Yolk.
Step 5: Cream Butter.
Step 6: Add Sugar and Mix.
Step 7: Add Brown Sugar, and Mix With Spatula Until Chunky.
Step 8: Mix With a Handheld Mixer Until Smooth, Then Add Egg and Vanilla, Mix.
Step 9: Sift Together Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt.
Step 10: Add Dry Ingredients to Wet Ingredient Little Bit at a Time, Mix, Repeat About 2 More Times.
Step 11: Mix With Handheld Mixer Until Smooth, Using a Gelato Scooper, Scoop the Batter...
Step 12: And Put It Onto the Baking Sheet, Leaving About 3 Inches Apart.
Step 13: Put M&M’s on Batter.
Step 14: Bake for About 14~16 Min, Checking at About 10 Min After.
Step 15: Get Out Your Spatula and Racks, If You Don't Have a Rack, Line Skewers or Chopsticks on Top of Bowls to Make Racks.
Step 16: While Waiting for the Cookies to Finish Baking, I Recommend Washing the Dishes.
Step 17: I Also Want to Talk About the Plastic Mesh Scrubbers, They Don't Scratch the Bowls and Other Tools While Getting Rid of Dried on Stains.
Step 18: Finished Baking Them! As You Can See, They Expand Quite Big, So Remember to Leave Them Apart to Avoid Them Sticking Together.
Step 19: And There You Go, Makes About 16~17 Giant Crispy M&M Cookies.
