In this Step by Step Instructable I'll show you how I make a Crochet Cupcake Headband for my daughter.

Materials:

Cotton - Black, White, Red, Brown and Pink

Elastic band

Padding polyester

Hook 2.0 mm

Legend and used stitches:

Magic ring - Make double adjustable ring

Ch - Chain

Sc - Single crochet

Dc - double crochet

(24) - The number of stitches in a crocheted round

"Dec" - Decrease - Crochet two stitches of the previous round together

"Inc" - Increase - Crochet two stitches into one stitch of the previous round

"Unchanged" - Crochet one stitch in each stitch of the previous round

(1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times - Repeat rapport 6 times


Step 1: Making the Base Cup

Magic ring

1 round - 8 sc (8)

2 round 8 inc (16)

3 round (1 inc, 1 sc) rep 8 times (24)

4 round (1 inc, 2 sc) rep 8 times (32)

5 round (1 inc, 3 sc) rep 8 times (40)

6 round (1 inc, 4 sc) rep 8 times (48)

Turn base

7 round unchanged (48)

Turn base back

8 round unchanged (48)

9 round unchanged (48)

The base is finished

Step 2: Making the Pink Cream

Magic ring

1 round 12 sc (12)

2 round 12 inc (24)

3 round (1 inc, 1 sc) rep 12 times (36)

4 round (1 inc, 2 sc) rep 12 times (48)

5 round (1 inc, 3 sc) rep 12 times (60)

6 round unchanged (60)

7 round unchanged (60)

The pink cream is finished

Step 3: Making the Chocolate Cream

Magic ring

3 round 5 ch in one stitch, 5 sc on them and back on the round, 4 sc, 2 ch in one sc, 2 sc and back to the round, 3 sc, 3 ch and 3 sc, back to the round, 8 sc, 4 ch and 4 sc and back to the round, 5 sc (48)

Step 4: Making the White Cream

Step 5: Making the Cherry

Magic ring

Fill the cherry with padding polyester and sew the hole tightly

The cherry is finished

Step 6: Making the Stem of the Cherry

Magic ring

7 ch

Sew the edges together

Step 7: Sewing Everything Together

Sew everything together and fill the cupcake with padding polyester.

Step 8: Making the Headband

For the headband catch the stitches on the base of the cupcake.

The pattern is very easy:

Do 6 dc and 2 ch turn and repeat this round as many times as you need. Check out the sketch I attached to this step. You can sew an elastic band in the back so you can easily adjust the size.
