Introduction: Crochet Dress

This year I decided to make my prom dress. The results were amazing and I love this dress.
The pattern is very simple an if you have any questions please comment :)

Step 1: Shopping List

What you need:

Crochet hook (I'm using an F)
Yarn
* Ribbon or Belt

*optional

Step 2: Top

For the top of the dress I used a pattern for a baby-doll dress from the Double Stitch Twins. But you can use any shirt pattern you want or you can crochet in rounds. I'm going to show you how to do it in rounds though:

Chain 95 (or however many chains it takes to go around your chest) and slip stitch in the first chain you made to creat a circle.

*Chain 3 and start double crocheting around. Slip stitch(ss) in top of the chain 3.

Repeat * until bodice is at desired length.

Step 3: Bottom

For the bottom of the dress I used a lace pattern that I found in one of my crochet books.

With the bottom part you can either change into a new color or keep the same color.

For this part just do your lace pattern un till you get to the desired length.

Step 4: Finishing

Now you can weave in the ends and add any edgings or straps that you want.

If you have any questions feel free to comment...... Have a lovely day!
