Crochet Dutchess Lace Blanket

Introduction: Crochet Dutchess Lace Blanket

About: I love to try new crochet patterns and love a challenge.

This beautiful blanket is sure to impress. The Dutchess Lace stitch is easy to crochet but creates an elegant look.

Step 1: Foundation Chain

I used a size K hook and Hobby Lobby's I Love This Chunky yarn, which makes the blanket so soft and cozy.

Chain to desired length. This pattern is worked in multiples of 3, plus 1.

Step 2: Row 1 of Dutchess Lace

Crochet the Dutchess Lace stitch into the chain.

Step 3: Row 2 of Dutchess Lace

Crochet the second row of Dutchess Lace.

Step 4: Repeat Rows 1 and 2

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length is reached. Change colors every 3 rows, or make the blanket in one color, or any combination you can think of. Be creative with the color pattern.

I would love to help you. Would you be able to clarify your question? Are you asking how to chain, how to do the dutchess lace stitch, how to crochet in general?

I don't know how to knit, it is different than crochet. You might be able to find a knit pattern that looks similar.

Very nice, this looks thick and warm! :)
