Introduction: Simple Crochet Winter Hat

About: I love anything craft or fandom related. (Both combined is the best)

This is a fast and simple pattern for a cute kid's striped snow hat. Feel free to leave off the pom-pom, and it will still look fine.

Add next color, chain 1, SC halfway around, SC decrease in next st, SC the rest of the way, sl st in beginning SC. Fasten off. You should have 16 rows on your hat, including the SC row.

Step 11: Pom-Pom

Cut 50 6" pieces of yarn (you can use all three colors or just one).

Tie piece of yarn in the middle of the bunch.

Fold the 50 pieces of yarn in half, making 100 strings, and tie a piece of yarn at the top where it is folded. Trim and ends and tie to the top of your hat.
