These are instructions for an adorable kitty with a seperate dress. She was based on a character from an old old tale, the matchstick girl. I hope you enjoy this simple tutorial!

The dress is removable, but I highly suggest you sew the neckline of the dress to the body's opening to prevent the dress from slipping. The pattern were inspired by japanese craftmenship.

Note, this kitty lacks a tail but I'm sure your creativity can easily give her one ;)

This is so adorable, I'm making it for my friend a cat lover!!

Thank you for the instructions! Nice job - very pretty! :)

Do you sl st the rows together at the end or is it continuous?
I'm not sure how the creator did but my replica I did a continuous row and only sl st at the end of each limb
Mine didn't turn out as cute but from the instructions I was able to construct a pretty cute replica :)

want to make one for my phone. ^ ^

2 questions..am I overlooking the hood pattern & also the dress starts out 27 sc, I've never seen a pattern start with 27. Is that chain 27 and join? I use a magic circle so I'm a little confused. Thank u!!
