Saw a wheel off a vehicle or trailer. This one was solid steel but only took about five minutes sawing.
Weld forks to square section tubing in this configuration.
Weld on a diagonal, for peace of mind.
Weld the axle to the new fork. (baby's arm optional) I can't believe this worked and remained strong using a little arc welder but it has.
Re-attach forks to bike + brakes etc. (Back brake only)
