As kids are growing, so is their digestive system. So, atleast twice a week, I make cumin water and carrom seed water (on alternate days) as it aids digestion, keeps inner body cool and prevents gastric problem. I started this for my toddler but then realized that the we adults can also drink and everybody in the family will be benefited. This is excellent for pregnant women and lactating women as well. I also drink cumin water when I get pain in the lower part of stomach due to heat.

I browsed the net today and saw that there are so many more advantages of cumin water and carrom seed water. Please check it and I am sure this simple technique can make a lot of difference to our health.

Step 1: Make Cumin Water

Ingredients:

  1. Water - 1.5 liters
  2. Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp

Preparation Method:

  1. Take water in a pot for boiling.
  2. Put cumin seeds and allow it to boil on high flame.
  3. Once it starts boiling, you could reduce the flame to medium heat.
  4. Let it boil for about 20mins.
  5. Let it cool.
  6. Once cool, strain it and clear cumin water is ready!

Step 2: Make Carrom Seed Water

Ingredients:

  1. Water - 1.5 liters
  2. Carrom Seeds - 2 tsp

Preparation Method:

  1. Take water in a pot for boiling.
  2. Put carrom seeds and allow it to boil on high flame.
  3. Once it starts boiling, you could reduce the flame to medium heat.
  4. Let it boil for about 20mins.
  5. Let it cool.
  6. Once cool, strain it and clear carrom seed water is ready!
