~*Cupcake*~

I found out about this contest, literally on the very last day to enter, with just a few hours left. I'm so happy I entered on time ;)

This Halloween, I turned myself into a cupcake. I did so, with lots of time & paper :D I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity, space (my Mom & Dads' house) helping hands (my Mom, (who helped me for hours to get that distinct cup shape) Dad & sisters) and materials to *bake* my idea to life.

I pretty much made it for free, with the exception of clear contact paper (3 rolls @ 99 cents each) used to protect the paper cup. I had the brown paper for years and my sister had the *exact* shade of pink I wanted for the frosting. At the last minute, she surprised with a bag of multiple sized Pom-Poms (that I wanted to buy but didn't find on my own) for the sprinkles. My little sister was Miss Pacman. I love my costume :D

Love your costume!!!!!! Just wondering how you made the paper cup? is there cardboard on the inside you stuck the brown paper too? Just curious because I am trying to make the cup part for my costume this year. Yours looks perfect!!

Thank you!

Very cute cupcake. Did you wear any vanilla or berry scented perfume? I love the hat.

By the way, I used to do costume design and we made giant cocktails for one play. We used a red playground ball with a stem added as a cherry. If you wear a cupcake again, you could get a ball and cut a head hole, add the stem and wear a cherry for a hat. But I do like the hat you chose.
