Introduction: Curd Jantikalu(crispy Curd Snacks)
-Janthikalu are famous south indian snacks which are prepared with rice flour and chick pea flour(besan)
-Curd janthikalu is another alternative tasty snacks prepared very easily using sour curd,rice flour and All purpose flour.They are very crispy and tasty.
-One cup rice flour
-Approximately little less than half cup All purpose flour
-3/4 cup curd
-Red chilli powder
-1/4 cup butter
-salt for taste
Step 1: MIXING
-Take one cup of rice flour in bowl and add All purpose flour (little less than half cup APF) to it.
-Add sesame seeds,carom seeds and red chilli powder.
Step 2: ADD MELTED BUTTER
-Add melted butter to it
Step 3: ADD CURD
-Mix everything and add 3/4 cup curd to it
Step 4: MAKE a SOFT DOUGH
-slowly add curd little by little and if needed atlast add very little water and make a soft dough
-Grease the sevai pressure machine with oil and take dough. Use disc with larger holes and by pressing fry in oil
Step 5: FRYING
-Slowly fry them by pressing.Fry till they turn little brown color
Step 6: ENJOY CURD JANTHIKALU
-Enjoy these crispy snacks with some tea.
