Curly/korker Hair Bows

Step 7: Finishing

Glue your hair clip to the bundle. You may want to line the clip with ribbon first, but with a full bow like this, I don't find it terribly necessary.

Once the glue has set, flip it over and trim the ends if you'd like to clean it up a bit.

Now go make a little girl happy!

Super cute!!! I wish I would've known this info "back in the day", we would get our bows custom-made for cheerleading, but now I realize they really poked our eyes out with the amount they charged. omg! i love it...seems so easy, im gonna give it a try after i go to the store 4 supplies.the dowel clips dont melt while setting the ribbon??? huh, would have never thought of it im excited!!!!thanks 4 the sharing

Thanks for the curly bow! My Grand-daughter is in a lot of pageants,now she can help nanny make beautiful bows for her pageants and everyday ware. She helps in some special way with each step. Not bad for someone who will be 3 soon. Thanks again! saves money and we speed good times!

I am SOOO thankful for your instructions. I had not one clue as how to make bows and you made it so simple. Well, I say that but I have not tried yet. Anywho, can you tell me what size clasp you recommend? I plan on using the same kind you have in the picture. I have found they come in many sizes. My daughter looks to be about the same size as the girl in the picture. Can you tell me what size clasp you used? Thanks so much and hope to hear back from you.

grgiagirl88, Thanks for the kind words! I use the smallest of the clips. It's around 2" or so. My girls have very fine hair, so I use an elastic first, then slide the clip just behind it and that seems to hold it in pretty well. I hope that answers your question. Good luck!;) Micki
