This is an I-pod dock I made prior to joining "ibles". I wish i had step by step pictures to show. The large pieces were made from 1/8" X 3" X 24" bass wood I bought from a craft store near my home( I think most arts and craft stores carry this wood) The sides and some hidden parts(from view) were made from 1/8" X 1/2" X 24" bass wood. In keeping with I-pod I painted it white but any color would work even clear wood.
I didn't measure as i built it, just sized the pieces up and custom cut to fit.(with plenty of sanding and re-cutting! and lots of ("@#&*$"). I used Elmer's wood glue to hold it together. I also lightly sanded the stock I-pod plug so the glue wood hold better. I hope you like it.
Please disregard the date, I used my daughters camera... enough said!

It looks great! It would make a good wall mount for having your ipod connected to a sound system!
