Here is the creation story for this Sterling silver and Oval faceted Brazilian Aquamarine.
I first sketch out a rough idea of what will be made.
I then carefully measure the gemstone as well as finger sizes. The is design was done using CAD Cam, you can see the rendering of the Cad Model which is them made into a wax pattern using a 4 axis Cnc mill. The wax pattern is then cast into sterling silver using the lost wax casting technique. After Casting the now silver ring is sanded and polished and finally the gemstone is set.

No candle wax, use a special carving wax from jewelry tools supplier
